The BAHS depends on volunteers who donate time and energy.  If have time to offer, even only a few hours a month, please let us now.  We currently seek volunteers for the following roles:

• Web Site Admin: We need help updating content on our site.  Basic computer skills are required; training provided.
• Archivists: We desperately need help with the sorting, organizing and scanning of photos, documents, maps, etc.
• CoBACH Hosts: We are looking for volunteers to act as hosts at CoBACH Center.  Meet and greet visitors while learning about history.

To kick off National Historic Preservation Month, the State Historic Preservation Review Board recommended a dozen Michigan sites for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The approved nominations will be forwarded to the Keeper of the National Register at the National Park Service in Washington, D.C.
